Remembering Who You Are In The Workplace - part 2

A follow-up to last year's topic: how the seed planted in August 2022 has evolved over the last year to cultivate a UX team culture that celebrates individuals' strengths. The present-day program direction has been shaped by team member input and prioritized to recur each month. This dedicated time fosters team dialogue, allowing for introspection and reflection on how other team members perceive us in a culture where feedback is considered a gift.

The outcomes we are observing include psychological safety, inclusion, a sense of belonging, and professional development created by people for people, with no financial budget allocation. This session highlights the deepening of team culture in a distributed work environment. It emphasizes strategies to better support team members and amplify their skills, and it underscores the importance of creating space for team building within an embedded service team model.

By continuously nurturing this evolving culture, we aim to meet team members where they are and magnify each other's skills. Additionally, we recognize the value of dedicating time and resources to team building, even in a distributed work environment. This approach fosters a sense of belonging and strengthens our collaborative efforts. Moving forward, we will continue to embrace feedback as a gift and refine our program to ensure it aligns with the evolving needs and strengths of our team members.
